Amazon Favorites: 6 kitchen essentials

Back from vacation? Check. School started? For us, it will start only at the end of next week, but in any case we're almost there. So...this is the perfect time to start organizing your home before the holidays madness starts.

With this in mind, I'm sharing with you today some of our kitchen favorites lately...

I've been changing all our food storage boxes from plastic to glass, and this set is just perfect: the variety of shapes and sizes helps a lot with the management of fridge space especially if your fridge, like mine, is on the smaller side.

These containers probable seem more appropriate for summer outdoor parties, but they are actually pretty useful for storage and organization too. The only thing you need to be careful, especially if you have kids around, is the set of glass straws (to be honest, I much prefer to use our bamboo straws).

I'm definitely trying this one out. I'll let you know how it goes as soon as I can.

These drawer organizers are very useful, and not just for cutlery. They come in 9 different colors but personally I prefer the natural wood tone.

I just love the pattern of these oven mitts!

And finally, this water bottle organiser may not look much, but believe me, it's a life saver when you have a zillion of water bottles in a kitchen cabinet. There's four of us at home, and we all have more than one reusable water bottle - we use them for work, school, sports, picnics and generally whenever we are out and about. And sometimes, when I want to reach for one of the water bottles at the back of the cabinet, half of the others come tumbling down (not nice if they're plastic; especially not nice if they are glass). So this is really useful to have all the bottles readily accessible:

Enjoy, and happy Saturday,
