Mini Granny Square - free cross stitch pattern

This week's free cross stitch pattern is a tribute to crochet projects. I had a lot of fun with this cross-over between crafts and now I want to repeat it again with other shapes too, let's see what else I can come up with...

Crochet Project Planner Printable

Hello, and welcome! Today I'm sharing here one of the latest items added to my Etsy shop - and for once it's not a cross stitch or a crochet pattern!

Instead, it's a crochet planner - a simple, one page way to register all your on-going projects, keep track of supplies and, overall, create more accountability to make sure you actually finish what you started.

DIY Tropical Vibes Gift Set

Following the purple gift set and the pink gift set I shared here before Christmas last year, I now completed a similar set, but this time in bolder colors with a tropical vibe.

A new crochet sweater

Just popping in here quickly to show off my latest crochet sweater. Slowly, I've been trying to dedicate more time to crocheting clothes I can actually wear - so instead of using this cotton yarn to make more placemats (of which we already have more than enough at home), I used it to make a sweater.

Lined boxy crochet cosmetic pouch

Hello, and welcome! Remember the lined crochet zipper pouch I shared here a few weeks ago? Well, my daughter used the rest of the yarns to make a larger, box shaped cosmetic pouch and we needed to add lining to it as well...

Granny squares crochet bag

Hello, and welcome! My daughter made a granny square bag for one of her friends. Basically, she crocheted all the granny squares, joined them together and assembled the bag. I contributed just by adding the lining and sewing the handles.

Make a Mini Solid Granny Square - the video tutorial

I've been making a lot of these mini granny squares lately for a project I expect to be able to share here soon, so I thought - why not turn all this work into a quick video tutorial?

Mini crochet pillow

Sometimes destashing means not only using up existing craft supplies but also completing projects that were left half finished (and have been in that stage for a while).

Such was the case with this little crochet pillow.

Small crochet basket - free pattern and video tutorial

Hello, and welcome! In a (not so) recent quest to use up my (overly large) yarn stash, I'm been making several crochet small baskets. Some of them I'm using to store other small on-going craft projects, others I'm saving to use as gift baskets later on.

In any case, after making a few I decided to write down the pattern and create a video tutorial too.

Small crochet envelope pouch

...made from...yes, you guessed: yarn leftover from another project.

Small crochet envelope pouch

To be honest, I don't even remember what I originally got this yarn for, but it had been sitting in my craft supplies closet for quite some time. So this past weekend I grabbed a hook and finally used it to crochet this small pouch while watching TV.

Night Sky Kitchen Cloth - free crochet pattern

Hello, and welcome! I created this pattern to use up bits of crochet yarn leftover from another project (which I still haven't posted about here yet but it's coming soon) and decided to call it Night Sky for the color combination of dark blue and golden brown.

Overall it's very easy to make and uses only basic stitches. Scroll down for the pattern.

DIY Waffle Stitch Dishcloth - free crochet pattern

Hello, and welcome! Today I'm sharing here a very quick but useful project.

I rarely sit on the couch to watch TV without a crochet or  knitting project in my hands, but I need projects that are fairly repetitive and easy to follow without paying a lot of attention, which means - no complicated patterns and not a lot of counting stitches.

This dishcloth fits both of those categories, because while the waffle stitch may seem difficult at first, after you practice a bit the pattern will come naturally to you.

DIY: granny square to jewelry organizer pouch

Hello, and welcome! Remember the solid granny square tutorial I posted here a couple of weeks ago? Well, in order to film and write the tutorial I actually had to crochet a solid granny square (obviously!), and then never bothered to frog it. It lived in my desk for sometime, until I finally figured out what to do with it.
