Crochet Summer Net Tote Bag

This pattern has recently been added to my Etsy shop and I still hadn't found the time to share it here too.

Crochet Summer Net Tote Bag

This net bag with handles, a round base and a cord to keep it closed, is a perfect little summer purse but can also double as an emergency reusable shopping bag (I always keep a couple of these bags in my purse and in the car, because I simply refuse to use and pay for plastic bags when I'm out shopping).

Upcycled gift bag

Remember the gift bags I created some time ago from vintage wallpaper (here)? And the cereal box I turned into a gift bag by covering it with fabric (here)?

Well, today I decided to mix both and made a new gift bag from a cereal box...covered in vintage wall paper.

New knitting needles cozy

Last year I made a felt knitting needles cozy for myself, in an effort to keep track of all my needles (I don't have that many, but they always seemed to get lost in the black hole that is my craft supplies closet).

New knitting needles cozy

And as I still love my knitting needles cozy very much, I decided to make one for my mom as well - because last Sunday was Mother's Day here in Portugal and I was out of ideas for original gifts. Since my mother knits a lot, one more cozy for her needles was not an overall bad choice.

DIY embroidery hoop organiser

Hello, and welcome. Today I'm bringing you a very fun project - using embroidery hoops to create organisers to hang on your walls.

I made mine to hold scissors, my rotary cutter and other sewing notions, since I've been reorganising my sewing area. But, in reality, these organisers can be used for everything, from makeup accessories to pens and pencils!
