Last year I made a felt knitting needles cozy for myself, in an effort to keep track of all my needles (I don't have that many, but they always seemed to get lost in the black hole that is my craft supplies closet).
And as I still love my knitting needles cozy very much, I decided to make one for my mom as well - because last Sunday was Mother's Day here in Portugal and I was out of ideas for original gifts. Since my mother knits a lot, one more cozy for her needles was not an overall bad choice.

Here they are, side by side (this time I remembered to take the pictures before gift wrapping the blue one...).
These cozies take less than 10 minutes to make and are very, very useful. So if you knit or know someone who does, you know have a perfect little gift lined up!
