DIY makeup brush roll gift set

Hello, and welcome! Today I'm sharing here a gift set I recently made for one of my daughter's friends who celebrated her 15th birthday this summer:

First, I made the makeup brush roll itself, using my DIY makeup brush roll tutorial. 

Then I added the matching reusable face scrubbies. You can find the tutorial for those here too: DIY Reusable face scrubbies with terry cloth backing.

Here's how the brush roll looks when closed and with all the accessories inside:

And then I remembered that I had previously already made a zipper pouch out of the same fabric, back when I sold physical items in my Etsy shop. The lining is different from the one I used in the makeup roll, but it's still a great addition to the set (and a great way to remove one more item from my stash):

I'm almost out of this cute blue fabric, there were just some small leftovers that I'll need to use up, and overall I'm very happy with the result. Other than the makeup brush and the small pack of lip gloss that we added to the set, nothing else was purchased specifically for this project - all the fabric, ribbon, thread, etc, came from my stash.
