This year I'm making an effort to make green, eco-friendly gifts for everyone for Christmas. Environmental concerns should not be something you just read in the papers or watch in the news. Each one of us can do at least one little thing to help.
I used the rest of the dinosaurs fabric from the baby bibs I made (also as a Christmas gift) and created four round face scrubbies and one matching bag (to keep the scrubbies organized and also to use as wash bag, so they don't get lost in the washing machine).
To make these, you will need one circle of cotton fabric and one circle of terry cloth for each scrubbie (my circles had a diameter of 10 centimeters).
Place the cotton fabric on top of the terry cloth (right sides together) and sew all around, except for a small opening. Turn inside out and hand stitch to close the opening.
Top stitch all around (this is optional, but it's going to make the scrubbies look more professional).
Now make a bunch of these! If you have extra fabric, you can also use my reusable gift bags tutorial to sew a matching bag to store your new scrubbies.
These dinosaur scrubbies have already been sent to their new home. So far I have made one additional set, which is available at my Etsy shop, and I have a few more in the making (including a square version of the scrubbies which I will share here later).

What a cute and useful way to go green! Thanks so much for sharing your talent with us at the Creative Muster. Looking forward to seeing what you’ll be sharing next week. Pinning!
