Hello, and welcome! Remember the floral corner bookmark I shared here last week? When I showed it to my husband he commented it was pretty but I would most likely use it only for hardcover books, as it was probably too big for a regular paperback.
Of course I accepted the challenge and came up with mini corner bookmarks!
They are made in pretty much the same way as the larger version (but with a square of only 7 cm vs almost 11 cm before):
Because of their smaller size I decided it was fun to make a set and decided on purple and yellow - I just love this color combo!
The squares and the triangles are, as before, sewn together using a blanket stitch, and I also added a few stitches to the flowers.
My daughter already grabbed one of them for her books...
...but I'm still keeping them as a set, and now I want to experiment with different colors and embellishments too.
How clever! Love this idea!
