DIY floral corner bookmark

Hello, and welcome! Last weekend I share a snippet on Instagram of my latest felt project: a floral bookmark. And today I'm back here to show you the finished product:  

 

The basic pattern I used came from my geometrical corner bookmarks, but this time instead of the modern version look I opted for a softer floral look.

Here are the materials I used. Flowers and leaves were cut using my Sizzix. 

First I joined the square and the triangle together using a blanket stitch. 

 

Then I hand stitched each of the other pieces separately. 

 And finally I glued them in place:

Although most of the books I read nowadays are in electronic format, there's still something magical about a real paper book with a lovely bookmark...
