Hello, and welcome! Today I'm sharing here the latest batch of keychains we made as gifts for my daughter's teachers at the end of the school year.
As usual, we made them following the steps of the tutorial I shared here on the blog years go: Let's make a (cute) key chain, but this time instead of just regular ribbons we also used some vintage ribbon pieces I had in my stash and also some lacy ribbons.
It was a great way to use up these small pieces of vintage ribbon, and I think the keychains do look great. To ensure durability, I top stitched both edges of the ribbon with matching sewing thread:
And then we tried the lace, and I have to say this one is probably my favorite of them all:
A fun project overall, and useful to destash scraps of ribbon and lace.
