Hello, and welcome! Today I'm sharing here what is likely my last warm and cozy project of this season, taking into account that spring is almost upon us.
Materials:
To make this scarf I used to skeins of the yarn below and 3 mm knitting needles.
Pattern:
Cast 48 (cast more or less stitches if you need your scarf wider or thinner, always in multiples of 3).
1st set of rows:
Row 1: knit 3, purl 3. Alternate knitting and purling 3 stitches until the end of the row. Turn your work around.
Row 2: same as row 1, but purling where you knitted in the previous row and knitting where you purled in the previous row.
Row 3: same as row 1.
Row 4: same as row 2.
Row 5: same as row 1.
Row 6: same as row 2.
2nd set of rows:
Row 7: purl 3, knit 3. Alternate purling and knitting 3 stitches until the end of the row. Turn your work around. Row 7 is just like row 1, but switching the kitting and the purling. This is what will give your project the weaved-ish look.
Row 8: same as row 7, but purling where you knitted in the previous row and knitting where you purled in the previous row.
Row 9: same as row 7.
Row 10: same as row 8.
Row 11: same as row 7.
Row 12: same as row 8.
Now alternate the 1st and 2nd set of rows until you reach the desired length for your scarf. Cast off, weave in ends and your scarf is ready to be used.
Have fun, and happy Thursday!
