I recently finished and posted the free pattern for my basic crochet scarf, and since I used another new (to me) yarn, I decided to share here a review:
Invicta is a 51% wool/49% acrylic blend variegated yarn from the Rosários4 knitting collection, and it comes in 12 different colors:
Even though this is presented as a knitting yarn, it works great for crochet too. It is, however, a yarn that is variegated not only in color, but also in weight - which means that some parts of the yard are thinner than the others.
This creates a slightly wavy pattern in your work, which is perfect for blankets, shawls or scarves. I'm thinking it might not look so good in sweaters or cardigans...
For my scarf I used one skein of color 33 Invicta yarn.
Rosários4 is a Portuguese company that sells a wide range of yarns, accessories and craft kits. Their official site doesn't have an online shop as far as I can see, but it does have a lot of free patterns available, a few great tutorials and a lovely blog too. You can find their site here: https://rosarios4.com/en/
Thank you for stopping by and happy Wednsday!
