Hello, and welcome! Today I'm sharing a brand new crochet pattern. Personally I love using handmade cotton dishcloths - they are easy to wash and dry and much better than any store bought dishcloth, and since I always have cotton yarn around I've been making lots for these (for me and for family and friends too).
I used cotton yarn leftovers from other projects and a 2.5 mm crochet hook.
Stitches used:
Chain
Double Crochet
Treble Crochet
Pattern:
Row 1: chain 54 (or a multiple of 5 + 2 + 2, if you want to adjust the size). Starting on the third chain from hook, add one double crochet over each chain, until the end of the row.
From here onwards, alternate rows 2 and 3 until you reach your desired length. The last row should be a row of double crochets (same as row 3, to match your initial row).
The dishcloths pictured here are both made with 23 rows in total.
You can make these dishcloths any size you want, they come together pretty quickly and make a great (and useful) homemade gift too!
Have fun, and happy Tuesday!

What a lovely pattern, I love the texture and I can't believe how simple it is. I'm pinning to try when I get a moment. Thanks
