Hello, and welcome! Today I'm sharing here a cute and quick way to create some original Christmas ornaments.
We made this set as gifts for my daughter's school teachers, but I'm loving the idea so much I might make more of these even to add to wrapped Christmas gifts.
To make these ornaments we used round wood slices from a set I actually got from Amazon last year and then never used (until now):
To decorate the wood slices I first contemplated cutting felt or fabric, but then we settled the much easier option of 3D Christmas stickers:
To make sure the stickers were secure we added a few drops of glue and then all that was left to do was to put the pieces of yarn in place through the holes in the wood slices.

Each ornament is unique, not just because of the stickers but also because there are no two equal wood slices, which adds to the rustic look.
