Mini sausage rolls - a quick & easy appetizer, only two ingredients!

Hello, and welcome! It's been a while since I posted anything food related here on the blog, but I just had to share these mini sausage rolls!

Mini sausage rolls - a quick & easy appetizer, only two ingredients!

They use only two ingredients and are the perfect appetizer for both kids and adults. And they are so quick and easy to make too!

What you need:
  • One puff pastry sheet (or more, depending on how many rolls you need to make). If you can get square or rectangular puff pastry sheets, those are the best for these rolls
  • Cocktail sausages (if you don't have them, you can just cut regular sausages to size and that works well too)

Cut the puff pastry sheet into smaller rectangles, each one as large as the sausages you are using (or slightly smaller) and long enough to go around the sausage with an extra to spare.

Then you just need to roll the puff pastry around each sausage:

Place the rolls on an oven tray and bake them for about 20 minutes or until they turn golden on top. You can see below how many rolls I made with just one rectangular puff pastry sheet:

I'm partial to eating these rolls still warm from the oven, but you can easily store then in the fridge for a couple of days in an airtight container.

Enjoy, and happy Tuesday!
