Learn the front post double crochet stitch - from the Crochet for Absolute Beginners Series

Episode 9 is about the front post double crochet 

 

Personally I mostly use the front post double crochet to create the waffle stitch, but in reality it can be used in a lot of other patterns to provide texture to the finished crochet project. 

The front post double crochet stitch is basically constructed just like the regular double crochet, the only difference is that instead of crocheting over the loop of a stitch from previous row, you're working around the post of that stitch from previous row. 

In any case. in the video I tried to keep it as simple as possible, bearing in mind that this series I've been building on my channel is dedicated to beginners. Check it out and let me know what you think!
