Quick & Easy Cake Name Topper

Hello, and welcome! 

If you follow me on Instagram you've probably already seen snippets of this project, but here's the backstory: this year we returned from our summer vacation later than we usually do, which means I had less than a day to prepare for my daughter's birthday. We decided to celebrate just with close family and host a party with her friends later this month, but in any case I wanted her to have a cake. 

And since time was limited to properly decorate a cake, we settled on just a topper with her name on it. But cute and blingy, of course.

Hi everyone, today I'm sharing a printables party pack I made for a Minions birthday party at the request of a friend. 

 

Princess cupcake toppers (free printable)

Yes, I'm again planning a birthday party. My girl is almost 4!

(side note nº1: where has time gone? she was a baby just yesterday)

(side note nº 2: I'm really getting old...)

Remember the Mario Kart cupcake toppers I made for my son's birthday? They were a huge success so I decided to come back to that idea. In a girl version, of course. Actually, in a princess version, since it has been decided that we will have a princess party in September.

So I bring you the double sided Disney Princess cupcake toppers:

They are very simple to make and just the same as the Mario Kart ones, but in case you missed that post, I took some quick pictures of the process. The printable document can be downloaded here.

There are two pages with the cupcake topper shapes:

 

Cut the cupcake toppers all around but don't separate the two halves: 

Spread glue on the back and put a stick in the middle of one of the halves (see below):

Fold over the other half over and press it. Let the glue dry.

Repeat for all other toppers or choose your favorite and go have a party!

Mario Kart cupcake toppers

Remember this post about the Mario Kart memory game? Well, I'm still in the process of making the memory games (7 finished so far, eight more to go).

In addition, I'm also working on other party accessories for my son's birthday in July (I like to plan ahead...), so today I'm sharing with you the double sided Mario Kart cupcake toppers:

They are fast and easy to assemble. Print and cut the circles keeping front and back together and glue then on the sticks (download the file here).

(sorry about the poor quality of the pictures, I had problems with the light and no time for a better photo session)
