DIY notebook covers for men

I have a handicap: I'm terrible at making gifts for men. There, I've said it.

Gifts for girls? I always have zillions of ideas. Gifts for women? Same. Gifts for boys or men? I'm always stuck. 

So when I was asked to create two gifts for men, I resorted to my 5 minutes book cover tutorial to make some some notebook covers that would work.

I chose black and dark blue for the covers, though brown or grey would have probably looked great too. 

I opted for an elastic and a button to keep the notebooks closed, but other than that, and the lack of embellishments, everything else is made according to the tutorial.
