Hello and welcome! Today I'm sharing here some heart pockets I made for Valentine's Day. And what are heart pockets? Well, they are exactly that - hearts (made of felt in this case, though you can make them out of paper too), with glued pockets.
And in those pockets you can put candy, gift cards, messages, and whatever else you want. They make the cutest little gift bags for Valentine's Day!
Here's the how to:
1. Cut
Cut two heart shapes. I used my Sizzix, but you can just as easily print a heart shape off the internet and use it as a pattern. My hearts were about 12 cm wide.
Next cut the top half of one of the hearts:
Glue the bottom of the heart you just cut over the other heart shape. Add glue only on the sides and bottom, to create the pocket.
3. Decorate
This is totally optional, but it's also where your creativity shines. Glue, embroider, embellish, add whatever you want to your heart pocket:
4. Fill with goodies
Fill your heart pockets with whatever you want and you are set for Valentine's Day with a unique gift bag.
Have a wonderful week!
Very cute! Pinned to our Valentine's Day board.

Cute idea - I have made similar pockets with paper - love the felt idea!
ReplyDeleteYes, you can make them out of paper or cardstock too, but I found that felt works better to hold things like candy or small trinkets. Thank you for stopping by!
