Hello, and welcome! I hope you're all staying safe and getting ready for the holidays. These past few days have been way too short for all that I have left to do before Christmas, but one of the things I really wanted was to finish this pattern.
This was a case of having in my head an image of what I wanted to make and then having to discover how I could crochet it (and in the easiest way possible too).
It took me a while (and a lot of trial and error) to get it just right, but I'm so happy with these coasters.
For a while I've been meaning to make square granny coasters, but I wanted them to have a more modern twist.
These color block coasters are the result of all my efforts over the past few weeks...
... and now that I know the pattern works, I'm also wanting to make a matching square placemat - and maybe turn the pattern into a rectangle too. Let's see how that goes.
Pattern for these is available at my Etsy shop - download it here.
Happy Tuesday, and happy holidays!
Really Nice!
ReplyDeleteI wondered if there’s a pattern for same look but in a larger square to put under a teapot
ReplyDeleteHi, I didn't write a larger pattern, but you have several options to make it larger: use a lightly ticker yarn, add more stitches in the original square, or add more stripes. You can have a look in my Etsy shop, as I have there a pattern of a placemat using a similar structure.
