Hello, and welcome to a new week! Today I'm sharing with you my latest zipper purse:
I love this book covers fabric. I got it a year ago at a local craft store and it looks like a book case, with panels of book covers in different colors. Each panel is just the right size to create zipper purses.
Last year I sold a bunch of these around the holidays, as they make the perfect book club gifts, but since I have my Etsy shop on vacation right now I made this one as a gift for a friend celebrating a birthday soon - she's a teacher, so the theme is perfect for her as well.
The zipper is lined with a matching fabric. The pattern is very similar but not exactly the same on both sides.
I made the zipper purse using my simple zipper pouch tutorial and the only extra additions are the keychain and tassel:
Happy Monday!
You made such a pretty fabric bag Teresa and I love that fabric!
