I Made it Monday: a bunny purse, felt pouches and purple gift tags

Hello, and welcome to another week! This weekend the weather wasn't that great - not that we can go far anyway now - so it was perfect for crafting.

I Made it Monday: a bunny purse, felt pouches and purple gift tags

Here are the three projects I managed to complete in the past few days:

A bunny purse. The fabric for this one was cut well before the lockdown but I only got round to sewing it now:

Not only I love this fabric, but I also managed to find a matching lining, so it turned out great:

Purple gift tags - I'd been wondering for ages what to do with some sheets of scrapbook paper I bought years ago and never used. I finally decided on gift tags and after much debating and a couple of tries that were discarded because they didn't turn out as I expected, this is the end result:

They are actually double tags, with the smaller scalloped circles placed over the patterned tags.

And finally, I finished a couple of felt envelope pouches. These pouches were some of the first items I added to my Etsy shop and by now most of those sold. Because these are one of a kind items, I only make them when inspiration strikes - t's been a long time since I made one, let alone two.

They are totally different, one elegant and classic and the other colorful and bold, but I love them both!

And these were the highlights of my crafty weekend. Have a great week, wherever you are. Stay safe, and don't forget to check out the other awesome Made it to Monday posts:

Happy Monday!

  1. All your projects are adorable. I love the idea of turning scrap paper into tags--thanks for the idea! I also love the coordinating fabric--makes it look more upscale!

  2. Those tags are a really pretty color combination! Interesting idea to have two tags within a single tag - could be fun to play with.

    1. Yes, I love double tags because they give you a lot more options for variations!
