Hello, and welcome. As we are all more or less stuck at home now, the search for activities to keep the kids busy is almost endless. Today's project is a great idea, especially since it's Easter themed.
It all started with the mission to create and decorate an Easter bunny...

It all started with the mission to create and decorate an Easter bunny...
What you need:
- a bunny shape cut out of felt or cardboard. I resorted to my Sizzix to make it faster. It's the same die I used for the Bunny Wall Art and The Bunny Garland some time ago. But you can also look for bunny shapes online and print your favorite (or freehand one, if you're able to)
- an egg shape (optional), cut from the same material as the bunny
- one wooden stick (optional, but then kids can hold the bunny in their hands and make up stories with it, like my daughter has been doing since yesterday)
- embellishments (we used a golden ribbon, a glue on eye and self adhesive fake crystals and shapes)
- a colouring pencil if you want to draw the inside of the ears and the mouth (my daughter chose pink, of course)
- one small pom pom for the bunny tail
Cut the bunny and the egg shapes, and let your kids do the rest. Depending on their age, you may need to help with the gluing part, but other wise just supervise and let them have fun.
