When it comes to notebook covers, I've made just about every theme I could think of - I've made a fox notebook cover, one with a sparkly cupcake, another with a dog and even one with a bunch of balloons (and a few others as well).
Well, last weekend my daughter told me she needed a gift for one of her friends (a girl turning nine) and as I was pressed for time, I decided to make another notebook cover...I let my daughter decide the design she wanted and she discovered this Nordic bird die from Sizzix (which I remember ordering a while ago but then never used).
My daughter also chose the colors and decorations, so in the end the bird looked more tropical than Nordic, but I actually like the combination.
It looks like a happy notebook cover and I hope the birthday girl loves it as much as we do.
Enjoy, and happy Tuesday,
Love it! Felt is such an easy-to-use material and I love to craft with it. Keep creating beautiful things!
ReplyDeleteThank you! Yes, I love working with felt!
Deletethat came out very pretty! I like that you used fabric instead of paper as many notebook covers are made out of. Thanks for also sharing this lovely idea with us at #OMGHWW
