Following up on last week's felt play hamburgers, today I'm showing you how to make simple cheese slices for your kids to play with. Because when it comes to toys, keeping things simple is often the best.
These can be made in next to to nothing and the kids can help in the process too.
What you need:
- the pattern - download here
- yellow felt
Instructions:
- download and print the pattern. Adjust size beforehand if you want your cheese slices larger or smaller and decide if you want the solid slice or the one with the holes - or both!
- trace the pattern onto the felt and cut the pieces (use a pencil, chalk or disappearing ink to avoid staining the felt)
Make as many as you want and pair them with hamburgers or any other play food of your choice.

Have fun, and happy Tuesday,
I love the felt play food! At one point I had a whole shopping basket full. Cute! Visiting from Tip Junkie!
ReplyDeleteThank you! We don't have a basket full yet but my kids are already complaining about the lack of space. Maybe I need to design a shopping basket next...
DeleteLOL, those look so real! I always loved playing with those types of things when I was a kid.
ReplyDeleteMe too. Now I love making them!
