Hello, and welcome to spring 2017!
Today I back here to share another of my spring projects: the hairclips I made for my daughter to wear on the first day of spring.
Today I back here to share another of my spring projects: the hairclips I made for my daughter to wear on the first day of spring.
I started with two simple hairclips, two felt flowers and two smaller felt hearts:
The felt flowers and hearts were cut using my Sizzix Big Shot, but it you don't have one they can be easily replicated if you print similar shapes off the internet and use them as a pattern.
These colors were not my first choice. To be honest, I was vying for green, soft pink or yellow, but my daughter declared she wanted hot pink and purple (her favorite colors) and since she's the one wearing the hairclips, it was only fair to comply.
First I glued the flowers to the hairclips and then the hearts on top of the flowers.
Overall, these were a 10 minute project, and since a girl apparently can't have too many hairclips, they still make one cute spring accessory.
Happy Tuesday,
Those are so cute! I think they look sweet with those colors.
