(Almost) Wordless Wednesday - spring at the beach

Last Sunday, the day just before the beginning of spring, was the warmest day of the year so far. So, of course we went to the beach.

The sun was shining, and the water was surprisingly warm.

The kids had fun picking up shells.

And we stayed almost until sunset, when a bitter wind rose to remind us that it wasn't quite spring yet.

Sadly, the weather has turned again and it's raining today, but better days will surely come.
