Remember the mushroom embroidery pattern I posted on the blog a few months ago (find it here)?. I left it on the hoop for a while, but finally decided to take it out, trim the fabric, and incorporate it into a new project:
The zipper pouch was made using my usual tutorial (here), I just cut the mushroom fabric into a rectangle and added the side panels before cutting the rest of the fabric and sewing.
Overall, this was a pretty fun project. Now I have my small embroidery hoop free for the next embroidery idea (still under development) and I ended up with a cute zipper pouch that will be used as a Christmas gift for one of my daughter's friends.
Happy Thursday,
