These past few weeks, after returning from our family vacation, I've been taking a look at the listings in my Etsy shop and updating or modifying some of them. This is what happened with this cross stitch landscape:
The original pattern looked like this:
All that green underneath the house and the trees was bothering me. It added little to the overall design and, more importantly, it was way to boring to just cross stitch row after row of the same color. So...
I switched it to this:
Now the lawn is smaller and full of colorful little flowers. Much nicer, in my opinion.
I also took the opportunity to make other minor adjustments here and there, and then re-wrote the tutorial and redid the photos as well.
When embroidered on 14-count Aida fabric, the design will now measure approximately 18 cm x 14.5 cm.
You can find the updated pattern HERE.
And if you click below you'll be able to see the full slideshow:
Over the next few days/weeks I plan to revamp a few more listings, and I also have a few new ones to add, so come and visit the shop any time you want.
