This past weekend I found a bit of time to finish sewing several tote bags. I had fabrics cut and some of the bags half assembled in my unfinished projects pile for a while, so it was great to finally get these done - especially since I'll probably be using some of them for Easter gifts.
As usual, they were all made using my 20-minutes lined tote bag tutorial, with size adjustments and, in one case, the corners sewed in for a flatter bottom look.
The cactus bag is one of my favorites, and I managed to use up the rest of this fabric (which is a great contribution for my destashing goal of 2025).
I had a lot of this pineapples fabric so I actually managed to sew two bags. Same fabric, same lining, but the larger one has an inside pocket and the smaller one a flat bottom:
I have used this diamonds fabric before for zipper pouches but I also love how it looks on a tote bag, especially with this cute lining:
Lately I've been struggling to find time to sew (and dedicate to other crafts as well) or even to blog, but I'm slowly trying to complete projects and share them here.
Have fun, and happy Tuesday!
