One more scrappy zipper pouch

Hello, and welcome! Remember the DIY Reversible Quilted Placemats Tutorial I shared here last year? At the time I also shared an envelope pouch with some leftover strips of fabric (read here about the DIY scrappy envelope pouch). Well, even after all that I still had small scraps of fabric in need of using...so I made another pouch:

As usual, this was made using my basic zipper pouch tutorial, with the scraps first sewn together directly over the batting:

The only difference vs. my original tutorial was the top stitch next to the zipper. I don't always top stitch my zippers, but I felt it looked better this time:

And here is the finished pouch (both sides and the inside look):

Since this year I'm desperately trying to use up a significant part of my fabric stash, this was the perfect little project to start.

Thank you for stopping by, and have a wonderful week,
