Strawberry Milkshake Ice Cream Popsicles - with only 3 ingredients

Hello, and welcome! Lately I've had almost zero time for crafting, but it's strawberry season so I definitely wanted to share this recipe here.

It's amazingly easy to make and the kids love it (adults too, by the way).

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup of fresh strawberries
  • 1 cup of milk (whole or semi-skimmed milk work best)
  • 2 tablespoons of brown sugar

In addition, for this recipe you also need a blender and freezer-safe popsicle molds. Mine are an old Tupperware set that I've bee meaning to replace and I've had my sights on the ones below for a while now, since they're from one of my favorite silicone mold brands.

Instructions:

Place all ingredients in a blender and blend them together until you have the equivalent of a strawberry milkshake.

Pour the mixture into the popsicle molds.

Freeze for a minimum of two hours or until the popsicles harden uniformly.

When ready, just extract each popsicle from the mold and enjoy!

The darker stripe in the photo above comes from the strawberries settling at the bottom (since my molds sit upside down on their holder). We kind of like the two tones, but if you want to avoid it, just shake the popsicle molds a couple of times before they freeze completely (it works a bit like churning a tub of ice cream).

Have fun, and happy Tuesday,
