Hello, and welcome!
It's been a while since I've sewn a felt envelope pouch. Before converting my Etsy shop to all-digital items I used to sell a lot of these - and I made many more as gifts, gift packages, phone covers, etc.
Last weekend I was going through my felt scraps when I found this a green rectangle of felt, and it looked perfectly sized for a small pouch.
In addition to the felt I also used a small piece of ribbon and an embroidered applique flower I had in my stash:
The pouch was made following the tutorial for the felt envelope clutches with ribbon closure, which you can also watch as a video tutorial:
The only difference is that the sides of the pouch were hand sewn with a blanket stitch instead of machine sewn:
The flower was simply glued in place, and the ribbon was sewn as well (check the tutorial to see how, it's really very easy).
Here's how the finished pouch looks like (front, back and details):
I made this pouch with no special purpose in mind, so I still don't know if I'm going to use it myself or give it as a gift. I do love the color combination, though, so likely this one will be mine...
Have a wonderful week,
