Remember the trio of kitchen towels I've posted about a while ago? (yes, I still have one free pattern to share, the one for the pink towel, I know...). Well, last week I was using those towels and my son picked one up (the green) and said it was too pretty to use in the kitchen.
I wold him it was made with the bunch of yarn scraps from grandma, but he shook his head and said it was still too pretty.
So...I decided to make an uglier, completely scrappy kitchen towel:
It's made using the same pattern as the blue towel and I just mixed a lot of small scraps of cotton yarn, as you can see.
It started mostly in pastel shades and ended very tropical indeed...
And I'm hoping now I can just use it guilt-free in the kitchen, because it's not too pretty to get dirty, right?
Happy Monday!
