I've been wanting to try string art for a while now (even though I still I have my doubts I will be able to pull it through, pun intended), so I browsed around and decided on this kit. The projects seem small enough for me to master - and if I can't, Im sure my daughter will love them.
I also discovered this candle making kit and I decided it would be the perfect birthday gift for a friend (because craft-related gifts are the best, right?):
This Snug as a Bug book I actually bought a while ago and while I haven't sewn a lot of projects from it yet, I love going through the pages especially when I'm looking for inspiration.
And finally...buttons - these are the ones I use the most for the little felt pouches I sew, and I love having them in a variety of colors.
