Learn the cross stitch double crochet - from the Crochet for Absolute Beginners series

Hello everyone! Have you noticed there's another video in the Crochet for Absolute Beginners series up on my YouTube Channel?

Well, episode 11 is about the cross stitch double crochet (cross stitch treble crochet in UK crochet terms).

I love to use this crossed double crochet stitch in washcloths and dishtowels. It allows you to add some texture and flair without having to use complicated stitches (very useful especially when you have little time to pay attention to specific patterns or even to properly count your stitches...).

So of course I had to include a video about it in this Crochet for Absolute Beginners series. Check it out below:

Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful week!

  1. I think this is one of the only stitches I know, ha! I love your tutorials. Every time I visit I think, "I've got to try that." One day I will. Thanks for sharing! By the way, I don't know how, but I wasn't following you on FB. Just liked you page if you'd like to follow back.
