Today I'm sharing here another fun craft for Valentine's Day: a see-through gift pouch!
This is very easy to make and if you don't want to sew it, you can always use glue instead for a no-sew version.
All you need are two pieces of felt (one larger than the other in order to allow for a flap to close the pouch):
Though of course this works in size you want, my smaller piece is a 17.5 x 17.5 cm square, and the larger piece is 17.5 x 26.5 cm.
Then on the larger piece of felt cut a heart (or any other shape you prefer) and glue a piece of soft plastic (I upcycled one of those plastic document covers) over the opening:
Here's how it looks from the right side:
After this is done, all you need to do is to place the two pieces one on top of the other and sew (or glue) down the sides and the bottom to create the pouch.
The final step is to add a snap to keep the pouch closed (you can also use velcro or just leave it open and tie it with a pretty ribbon instead):
Now fill your pouch with candy...
...chocolate...
...cute stickers...
...or just about any Valentine's Day gift or card, and surprise everyone with this original way of packaging your gifts!
Have fun and happy crafting!
