If you follow me on Instagram you've provably already seen a few snapshots of these wood cross stitched bookmarks I designed and made for Valentine's Day.
And so today I'm sharing here a quick tutorial and the cross stitch charts for both of them:
I made the red bookmark first.
I got the wood bookmark frames from Amazon. They came in a kit similar to this one:
After completing the cross stitch I glued a piece of soft felt in the back and added a tassel.
And then I just had to make a blue version too - kind of a "his and hers" bookmark set.
Don't they look great together?
