Hello, and welcome! Today I'm back here to share one of the latest additions to my Etsy shop - and a pattern I've been using a lot to make Christmas gifts for friends and family: double sided crochet pot holders.
If there's one thing I dislike are thin pot holders that pass on the heat when you use them. And crochet pot holders often suffer from that handicap. So I've made these extra thick - with two sides that are worked separately and then joined together.
This means that you can make the potholders in two different colors if you want (different front and back). And the pattern comes in two sizes, so you can choose what works best for you (or make them both, like I did).
And as bonus, different options for the hanging loop are given in the pattern, though my favorite is the one that allows you to open and close the loop with a button.
The pattern and tutorial for these potholders is available at my Etsy shop, and stay tuned because there's a child-sized version coming soon - similar potholders perfect for a play kitchen, just because all kids love to have something similar to what their moms use.

So Cute! My mother and grandmother used to use some just like these. Brings back good memories.
