Hello, and welcome! Today I'm sharing with you another of my cross stitched ornaments. After the Christmas tree and the wreath I now made one with a Christmas gift, complete with bow.
Materials:
- one wooden cross stitch oval frame (you can also use a round or a square one, I just had been using round frames for the other ornaments and wanted to change shapes...)
- the cross stitch chart - download it here
- embroidery floss in yellow and red (DMC color codes included in the chart for reference)
- a small piece of yarn or ribbon for hanging
All you need to do is download the pattern and follow the instructions to cross stitch the gift shape onto the wooden frame.
Once finished, pass a bit of yellow embroidery floss through the holes on top of the yellow "ribbon", as shown below:
Cut off the excess floss, add a ribbon for hanging and your new ornament or gift tag is ready to be used!
