Hello, and welcome! Today I'm sharing the ribbon roses gift tags I finished last night.
A while ago a friend of mine ordered some ribbon roses on Amazon. She thought she was ordering a limited quantity but instead she got a bag full with zillions of them. She used the ones she needed and then passed on the rest.
I've used them for other projects here and there too, but I still have lots anyway. These gift tags were a great way to use up a few more.
I started with round scalloped plain tags, some colored imitation crystals and ribbon roses. I have red, purple, lilac, pink and white roses but didn't use the white ones for this project as they didn't stand out enough against the white cardstock.
And then all I had to do was glue on the roses and the crystals.
A tip: gluing the crystals is tricky, so you can use tweezers to help with placement, if needed.
And here they are, ready to be used, each with a matching colored thread:
Happy Tuesday and stay safe,

ReplyDeleteMe too! Thank you for stopping by!
DeleteThese are so pretty. I have a stash or ribbon roses, too! And rhinestones. Can't find a round scallop punch--but I found my 2" square one! Hurrah! Like I needed another project, but these are so cunning (Maine-speak for stinking cute)!
ReplyDeleteThank you! You can make them any shape you want, they will still look great!
