Hello, and welcome! Today I'm sharing with you my latest upcycle - a floral spring headband.
My daughter had been asking for a floral headband for some time now and I had thought to get one for spring - but then last weekend I was cleaning out some stuff and found one of my old headbands in the process. It was old and battered, and probably should have been thrown in the trash a long time ago, right?...Well, wrong!
This is the "before" look:
First I glued a thin ribbon on the inside of the headband - although this side will mostly be hidden from sight, I still wanted it to look pretty and put together.
And then I simply glued this floral ribbon on top. Could it be any easier? And since I already had all the materials, it was pretty inexpensive too.
My daughter loved it, and I kind of do too. I may need to take up this idea and make more of these headbands, as I'm feeling they can be a great spring gift idea.
Here's what the "new" headband looks looks when worn. Just perfect.
