5 amazing quilts for beginners

The ABC Crafts Series...Q is for Quilt!

Welcome to another edition of the ABC Crafts Series. After a small summer break, we're back on trail with quilts for Q.

Quilting is something I've always wanted to dedicate myself to and never really found time. Yet. While researching materials for this post, though, I realized that quilts do not have to be big and complicated to qualify.

In fact, there are some pretty awesome projects that would not take forever to complete and that seem simple enough for a beginner like me. Actually, one of them is not even a quilt, though it follows the same sewing techniques and seems like a great way to start.

On the plus side, they all come with detailed instructions on how to get there, which is always a great help. Check them out below!

I hope you've enjoyed this little list of ideas, come back next week to see what I'll be sharing!

In case you missed previous posts, the ABC Crafts series will be covering one (or more) crafts for each letter of the alphabet during 2016. Each roundup features 5 links, grouped around the major theme. All links posted will be DIY tutorials with clear instructions and/or free patterns, so that everyone can easily replicate them.

I've created a specific page for the series, which will include links to the crafts already covered, and a list of upcoming topics. You can find the page here. If you have suggestions for any of the topics, feel free to leave me a comment or send me an e-mail and I will try to include your ideas as much as possible (with proper credit)!

Quilting itself is kind of therapy, if you like sewing and creating. There is so many great tutorials in internet, just like ones you have presented
