5 original placemats you can easily make

The ABC Crafts Series...P is for Placemats!

Welcome to another edition of the ABC Crafts Series, this time to bring you some ideas to create original placemats that will add color and flair to your kitchen or dining room.

5 original placemats you can easily make

They are all fairly easy to make, come with detailed instructions, and I picked alternatives which require different crafts, so that everyone can make at least one of them.

I hope you've enjoyed this little list of ideas, come back next week to see what I'll be sharing!

In case you missed previous posts, the ABC Crafts series will be covering one (or more) crafts for each letter of the alphabet during 2016. Each roundup features 5 links, grouped around the major theme. All links posted will be DIY tutorials with clear instructions and/or free patterns, so that everyone can easily replicate them.

I've created a specific page for the series, which will include links to the crafts already covered, and a list of upcoming topics. You can find the page here. If you have suggestions for any of the topics, feel free to leave me a comment or send me an e-mail and I will try to include your ideas as much as possible (with proper credit)!

  5. We're not big placemat-users around here (because we eat on the couch!), but these look like fun, crafty things to make and they would be great as gifts, so I might just be getting started and checking off my Christmas list already... Thanks for joining us at #FridayFrivolity this week!

  6. My kids just use placemats to throw and spill stuff (toddlers) but I can't wait to be an adult and use one again. I can't decide which I like most but I love the stones and birch ones!

Thanks for sharing at #bloggerspotlight! Don't forget to come link up tomorrow night and see who got featured!
