The ABC Crafts Series...K is for Knitting!
Welcome to another edition of the ABC Crafts Series, and the last one dedicated to the letter K!
While I love almost all sorts of crafts, knitting is one of the hardest ones for me to take up. Even though I learned to knit when I was still very young and even though my mother is an avid knitter, I still prefer crochet. Or cross-stitch. Or even sewing.
In fact, there are lots of wonderful knitting projects that are very, very easy to make and that don't take up a lot of time, which makes them perfect for beginners and for the more seasoned knitters that, like me, lack the time (and the will) to handle anything more complicated. Here are a few examples:

I'm not really sure why this happens. Maybe because I'm terrible at following patterns, or maybe I just don't have the patience required. In any case, the only knitting projects I seem to be able to tackle these days are the very simple ones. But just because they are simple, they are not less cute, and that's what I wanted to show you today.

I hope you enjoyed this little list of ideas! Come back next week to find out what I'll be sharing on letter L!
In case you missed previous posts, the ABC Crafts series will be covering one (or more) crafts for each letter of the alphabet during 2016. Each roundup features 5 links, grouped around the major theme. All links posted will be DIY tutorials with clear instructions and/or free patterns, so that everyone can easily replicate them.
I've created a specific page for the series, which will include links to the crafts already covered, and a list of upcoming topics. You can find the page here. If you have suggestions for any of the topics, feel free to leave me a comment or send me an e-mail and I will try to include your ideas as much as possible (with proper credit)!
Happy Thursday!
What lovely knitting projects. I love the little bunny, so cute.

Thank you Kathleen! I love them all, but the bunny is also my favorite!
DeleteThey are all so cute!! Thanks for sharing on My 2 Favorite Things on Thursday! Hope to see you again tomorrow! Pinned!
ReplyDeleteThis is great! Like you, I find knitting frustrating. No matter how hard I try to follow the pattern, I always seem to mess something up! Small, quick and easy patterns like these are perfect for me. I think I'll have a go at the headband first. Thanks so much for sharing! #blogfair
