The ABC Crafts Series: E is for...Embroidery!
Welcome to another edition of the ABC Crafts Series. After last week's St. Patrick's Day special (missed it? find it here) we're back on track with letter E, this time to share some pretty cute embroidery designs.
Embroidery is a tricky craft, in my opinion. While the individual stitches are easy enough (most of them, at least), most projects require an amount of time and a level of concentration that I usually never manage to have available. This is why, though there are some pretty amazing ideas out there, I decided to pick for this roundup just easy embroidery designs that can be made in a day (or in a couple of hours, if you're lucky). All of them have free patterns available for download.
An in case you've never done this before or don't feel enough confidence to tackle any of these without help, I also added, at the bottom of this post, links to a comprehensive list of embroidery stitches (with clear image tutorials) and a link to a video presenting you several alternative ways to transfer embroidery patterns from paper to fabric.
Check out this week's lovely embroidery designs below and pick your favorite!

I hope you enjoyed this little collection of embroidery projects. Next week we'll stick to letter E still, for a wonderful Easter special edition!
And now, as promised, you have below the links to the embroidery stitches library, and the tutorials on how to transfer embroidery patterns:
And here's a vert interesting additional resource: Amazing Must-Know Embroidery Stitches.
In case you missed previous posts, the ABC Crafts series will be covering one (or more) crafts for each letter of the alphabet during 2016. Each roundup features 5 links, grouped around the major theme. All links posted will be DIY tutorials with clear instructions and/or free patterns, so that everyone can easily replicate them.
I've created a specific page for the series, which will include links to the crafts already covered, and a list of upcoming topics. You can find the page here. If you have suggestions for any of the topics, feel free to leave me a comment or send me an e-mail and I will try to include your ideas as much as possible (with proper credit)!

These are all cute but I really like the second one. I would love for you to share this at the Friday Favorites link party going on now.
