(Almost) Wordless Wednesday - at the beach

Last Saturday we enjoyed the first sunny day of 2016 and...we went to the beach, of course.

Although I love the beach and the ocean at any time of the year, these winter days, when almost no one else is around and we seem to have the sea and the sand just for us, are pretty amazing.

My kids were totally dedicated to their favorite activities: collecting shells and digging holes in the sand.

And we were able to stay until sunset before the chill drove us away.

Too bad we are back to rain again now...
