10 Amazing DIY Fall Wreaths

While fall is clearly not my favorite season (I'm a spring/summer kind of girl), I do love fall colors. And I love wreaths, even if rarely can find the time to make them.

Recently, I was browsing around Pinterest and I came across some beautiful fall wreaths. The problem? Most of them were Etsy links and, while some were pretty awesome, I would cringe at spending so much money on a wreath.

And so I came up with the idea for this post: sharing some amazing fall wreaths that everyone can make at home.

10 Amazing DIY Fall Wreaths
I searched for wreaths with clear instructions and easy to find materials that can be completed at a much lower cost than the ones for sale online. Here are my favorite 10 DIY Fall Wreaths:

~1~

Fall Wreath with Felt Rosettes from Crafting Mom. I have lots of felt scraps at home that can be put to good use in making a wreath like this.

DIY Pinecone Wreath from Simply Simplisticated. My kids love to pick pine cones from the parks near our house, so this will probably come very cheap if I decide to make it. While I found several pine cone tutorials on line, I particularly liked this one because of the contrasting red in it.

Fall Wreath DIY from Cardstore.com. Burlap and pretty flowers. Need I say more?

Fall Tulle Wreath from Simply DIY 2. While I probably would not use those exact same tulle colors, I particularly liked the detailed instructions one how to make this wreath.

Mason Jar Washi Tape Wreath from Tartelots & Jello. OK, this one will probably only be inexpensive if you have a lot of mason jar lids at hand. But can you resist those colors?

Printable Fall Leaves Wreath, from I Heart Naptime. This is probably the cheapest of the pack, as long as you have a color printer at hand. Though I would not be looking forward at cutting all those leaves one by one, it's a task I'm sure my kids would be up to and it could keep them occupied for a while.

Easy Fall Wreath from 2 Bees in a Pod. Simply beautiful.

DIY Fall Wreath Tutorial from Home Remedies. This one is elegant and classical and I'm pretty sure it would look wonderful on my front door.

DIY Burlap Wreath from Pinterest & the Pauper. Made with burlap in different colors. While there are not a lot of pictures, the post includes a detailed description on how to create this lovely wreath.

Yarn Wreath, from 4Sythe Trail. This wreath eased its way onto this list for its sheer originality. While I love the yarn colors (and I know first hand how easy it is to make a yarn wreath ever since I made my spring wreath), the flowers were what fascinated me the most. They are made with pistachio shells and are simply amazing. I totally need to try them one of these days!

Inspired enough? Have a wonderful weekend!

  2. Beautiful picks!! I love fall, but the cold harsh gray days of winter usually have me longer for summer. :)
