Sofia the 1st printable coloring & activity booklet

My daughter is a huge fan of Sofia the First, so when we ended up having two different birthday parties for her last week (one with family and friends and one with her pre-school buddies) she decided that the pre-school party was to be all about Sofia.

The theme of the family & friends party had been Disney princesses (hence the princess cupcake toppers) so it made perfect sense to keep walking down the same royal path.

This meant, however, that I had to come up with some party favors on the run, so I bought some coloring pens and then went online to try to put together a small Sofia the 1st coloring book.

I ended up adding some pre-school activities adapted from this awesome pre-k pack Pam @ www.overthebigmoon.com has put together (seriously, if you have little Sofia fans in your house, go check out, it is ready to print and full of interesting activities for the kids).

And this was the final result:

The pictures I took are obviously of the Portuguese version, but I changed the (few) words included to English in the version available for download below (it is a Word version, so you can edit it anyway if you need to).

How to go about it? Download the file and print it front and back on a color printer. Then fold the sheets and cut them in half. The cover is in the last page.

Now fold each (halved) sheet in half again to form the pages of the booklet:

Organize the pages the way you feel it looks better (since you printed on both sides of the paper, you have images in all pages of the little booklet).

You have several alternatives to bind the pages together: you can staple them (though I'm not a huge fan of stapling things to give to little children), you can glue them (what I did) or you can bind them with a cute ribbon (what I would have done if I had had the time).

Anyway, here is the file for download. The file is formatted to print in A4 size paper but I hope it works for other paper sizes as well.

Enjoy,

  2. I guess I am not with it (I'm probably too old and I only have a grandson not granddaughter) because I haven't heard of Sofia the First before now. It looks so cute though.

    1. Yeah, it's a fairly new Disney character. By my daughter is also named Sofia so you can guess she's all into it...
