Not many news from our side - which, given the current situation, is actually good. We are home, safe and healthy, and that's the best that we can hope for now.
Although I have lot's of sewing projects started, I've been focusing mostly on crochet items lately. First because I find crochet very relaxing; and second because it means I can be more mobile while crafting. Instead of being stuck in my craft room in front of the sewing machine, I can sit in the living room or wherever my kids are and keep them company.
So here's what I finished this weekend:
I completed the two toned washcloths and face scrubbies set I had started last week. Two washcloths in different sizes and three matching face scrubbies.
And I also made this face scrubbies set. This time I changed the pattern a bit and decided to name them "sunny side up scrubbies" - just because we all need something to smile about lately.
These are very easy to make and come together pretty quickly. I'll be sharing the pattern here on the blog later this week.
Probably these two completed projects won't get to be listed in my Etsy shop, as I have several friends and family birthdays coming up and it's most likely homemade gifts are the only option available in the next few weeks. But this new scrubbies pattern will for sure show up in the shop sometime in the future - maybe in yellow, these would look stunning in yellow or orange, in my opinion.
And these were the highlights of my crafty weekend. Have a great week, wherever you are. Stay safe, and don't forget to check out the other awesome Made it to Monday posts:
