DIY Pink and Blue Floral Felt Corner Bookmarks

Hello, and welcome! Today I'm back here to show you a couple of felt bookmarks I made recently as part of my effort to finish as many Christmas gifts as possible before the beginning of December...

DIY Pink and Blue Floral Felt Corner Bookmarks

I shared the tutorial for these bookmarks years ago (find it here). The process is exactly the same, I just make them smaller this time:

Because of their smaller size I decided it was fun to make a set and decided on pink and blue - because, let's face it, it's always a great color combination.

The squares and the triangles are sewn together using a blanket stitch, and I also added a few stitches to the flowers and leaves.

The flowers and leaves were cut using my Sizzix Big Shot and an old flower die, but you can cut any other shape by hand or by googling and printing a pattern.

Alternatively, if sewing isn't your thing, you can just use a bit of fabric glue to assemble everything together.

Overall, this is a fun and quick project - perfect to use up bits of felt and embroidery floss. These book marks also make a great gift for book lovers.
