Hello, and welcome! Today I'm back here to show you a couple of felt bookmarks I made recently as part of my effort to finish as many Christmas gifts as possible before the beginning of December...
I shared the tutorial for these bookmarks years ago (find it here). The process is exactly the same, I just make them smaller this time:
Because of their smaller size I decided it was fun to make a set and decided on pink and blue - because, let's face it, it's always a great color combination.
The squares and the triangles are sewn together using a blanket stitch, and I also added a few stitches to the flowers and leaves.
Alternatively, if sewing isn't your thing, you can just use a bit of fabric glue to assemble everything together.
Overall, this is a fun and quick project - perfect to use up bits of felt and embroidery floss. These book marks also make a great gift for book lovers.
